In this detective-themed Popeye short, Popeye works as a private investigator hired to solve a mysterious jewelry theft. His search leads him through dark alleys, shady suspects, and classic noir-style settings — all while Bluto tries to throw him off the case. With Olive Oyl caught in the middle, the investigation quickly turns into a slapstick chase packed with fistfights, clever tricks, and Popeye’s signature spinach-powered finale. A fun parody of hardboiled detective stories with plenty of 1950s Popeye energy.
