Popeye – Lighthouse Keeping (1960)

In this maritime Popeye short, Popeye and Olive Oyl take on the job of running a lonely lighthouse perched above rough seas. Their peaceful duty doesn’t last long — Bluto soon arrives to sabotage the lighthouse in hopes of taking over the job himself. As storms roll in and the beacon goes out, chaos erupts with slippery floors, crashing waves, and classic slapstick battles between Popeye and Bluto. When Olive is put in danger and the ship below risks disaster, Popeye powers up with his trusty spinach to restore the light and save the night.
