Elmer J. Fudd is a classic Warner Bros fictional cartoon character best known for his ongoing (and usually unsuccessful) mission to hunt Bugs Bunny. Recognizable by his soft-spoken voice, distinctive catchphrase — “Shhhhh… be vewy vewy quiet, I’m hunting wabbits” — and comedic persistence, Elmer became one of the most memorable figures in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series.
